Parking
Because of the current parking situation, we recommend public transportation. If you prefer travelling by car, please request a guest parking permit from us. This permit allows you to park your car in the parking lot adjacent to the Physikzentrum (adjacent to Otto-Blumenthal-Straße) or in the parking lot adjacent to Forckenbeckstraße (both RWTH parking zone U). Without a guest parking permit you are only allowed to park your car on Otto-Blumenthal-Straße or on Forckenbeckstraße (but not in the parking lots mentioned before).
Arriving from the autobahn:
At Autobahnkreuz Aachen, the intersection of A4 and A44, take A4 heading towards Heerlen (NL). Leave the autobahn at exit Aachen-Laurensberg and take the freeway towards Aachen-Innenstadt (Aachen center). Follow the signs RWTH Melaten, which will guide you into a short tunnel. After you have left this tunnel, take the next exit and go straight across the traffic circle. You are now on Forckenbeckstraße. After approximately 400 meters there is a parking area to the left of Forckenbeckstraße. Please take the stairs opposite the parking area, which lead away from the bus stop towards the street Otto-Blumenthal-Straße. The building across this street is the Physikzentrum.
